Pomellato presents its new collection and ad campaign
A tribute to women in all their authentic beauty
Mirroring its unconventional spirit and enhancing its ongoing tribute to women, Pomellato chose the Teatro Arsenale in Milan to unveil a new jewelry line called Ritratto and its latest advertising campaign, a gallery of powerful black and white portraits shot by Peter Lindbergh.
The new campaign was presented in clusters of over 100 floating frames, from modern to baroque, that contained a mix of portraits, backstage snaps and stills of the jewels.
In a similar vein, a shrine-like show-case, crafted from multicolored concentric frames, emphasized the preciousness of the Ritratto jewels.
Steeped in tradition yet utterly contemporary, the line homages the Portrait cut, an antique Indian tech-nique characterized by stones of large dimensions, shaped with step-cuts.
Quintessentially Pomellato in terms of color and volumes, this unusual technique is revisited with whimsy and creativity while maintain-ing the simplicity of the house’s aesthetic.
Also at the event, guests posed for a picture holding one of the many signs bearing empowering words and quotes in support of women. Powerful, Passionate, and Proud. A hashtag summed it all up: #PomellatoForWomen.
