The long-awaited arrival of Pomellato in Switzerland is announced by the opening of its flagship store in Zurich. Weinplatz is one of the cities most antique and aristocratic squares and it is here that the Milanese maison has chosen to open its doors to the public. In sync with this location, Pomellato has partnered with one of the cities most sophisticated family businesses: Zett Meyer.

Alongside Pomellato’s 60 outlets, this boutique has a paired down elegance both inside and out. Two shop fronts shaded by dark wooden porticos welcome you and provide the perfect setting for the serene and light interior. Taking inspiration form the Rodeo Drive boutique in Los Angeles, the walls are covered with serene cream fabric interspersed with gilded mirrors and the floor is a mixture of light stone and soft silk carpet. The three counters are covered with white veined black marble and the seats around these are pillar box red. A portrait of Tilda Swinton, Pomellato’s spellbinding muse, sits in pride of place and oversees all.
